Transformation from Digital Library to Digital Learning

The course is built around individual and collective reflections, summaries and challenges, using the shared blogging platform. All of the course material is open on the web -free to use for all participants.

There may be minor changes in the program. Participants will be able to bring their own teaching material and work with that.

11.00-14.00 A guided bus trip to Korpoström and coffee break on the road
14.00-15.00 Arrival to Korpoström registration and snack
15.00-18.30 Real and virtual life introduction
  • Where in the world? Presentation of participants - presentation of self. Google Earth with street view.
  • Digital Humanism. My virtual self: how do I present myself on the web? To google each other - significance and practicalities.
  • Blog: Getting started!

14.30 - Tours in the University of Turku depending on the interests of the participants (optional)


Feedback, sharing of reflections and thoughts, and  publishing of productions is embedded to the course program as there will be several short sessions for blogging during the whole course.
