Introduction
The International Institute of Applied Aesthetics (IIAA) promotes research, education and publishing in environmental aesthetics and other humanistic environmental studies. The Institute is active in organizing domestic as well as international seminars. Since 1995 IIAA has organized International Summer Schools of Applied Aesthetics, and from 2005 they are held alternately with the Autumn Seminars of Applied Environmental Aesthetics.
IIAA’s office is located in Lahti, Finland as a part of Palmenia Centre for Continuing Education (University of Helsinki, Finland). IIAA's activities are coordinated by Postdoctoral Researcher Kalle Puolakka (kalle.puolakka[at]helsinki.fi, +358-50-588 0730).
