Welcome to the Institute of Behavioural Sciences
The Institute of Behavioural Sciences is a multidisciplinary institute that conducts high-quality basic and applied research in the educational sciences, cognitive science, psychology and the speech sciences. The Institute is responsible for undergraduate, postgraduate and specialist education in the above fields as well as for several Master’s degree programmes. The Institute is also home to the Centre for Research and Development of Higher Education. The Institute has approximately 1,700 under- and postgraduate students and a staff of 240.

The roots and background of the Institute are deeply in former three Department's (Education, Psychology and Speech sciences) high-quality international research and student-oriented teaching. To promote and further develop the missions of high-quality teaching, small teaching divisions - heavily based on Instutitute's strong and scientifically productive research groups - have been formed within the Institute.
