No simultaneous interpretation will be provided. Letter of invitation Upon request, the Congress office will send a personal invitation to participate in the meeting. It should be understood that such an invitation is only meant to help participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa, and does not represent a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support. Insurance Please check the validity of your own insurance. The Conference organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained or loss of, or damage to, property belonging to Congress delegates (or their accompanying persons) either during or as a result of the congress. Helsinki – The host city Our capital by the sea is a metropolis with human dimensions, offering lots to see and to experience. Helsinki is also among the world’s most popular conference cities. The city lives around the clock, offering countless possibilities for fun as well as just passing the time. How to get there? Helsinki is easily accessible from all directions and has excellent connections with the rest of Europe and the world. There are several daily direct flights to Helsinki from most European capitals. The Helsinki-Vantaa airport is situated 30 min. drive from the city centre. Our capital is also easily accessible by sea. There are regular ferry services from Stockholm, Tallinn and Travemünde to Helsinki. University of Helsinki – Conference Venue The ICCA 2006 Conference will take place at the Main Building of the University of Helsinki. Currency The currency in Finland is Euro. All major Credit cards are widely accepted in Finland. Tipping Tipping is not expected in Finland. Electricity Electrical current in Finland is 230 V (50Hz). Plugs and sockets are the same as in the continental countries of EU. In case your equipment requires different voltage or plugs, please bring an adapter.
