Conference fee

The conference fee is 25 € to all participants. The fee covers the participation in lectures and workshops and coffee breaks on both days. You can register by paying the fee to the Finnish Literary Research Society’s account:

Welcoming Reception

On the opening day of the conference (Wednesday, June 10th) there is a reception in honour of our foreign guests. The reception will be held at the University Main Building (street address: Unioninkatu 34, ground floor). We kindly ask you to let us know if you would like to participate by March 20th: minna.maijala@helsinki.fi

Conference Dinner

On the evening of the second day of the conference (Thursday, June 11th), there will be a conference dinner at the restaurant Savu (Tervasaarenkannas 3). The cost of the dinner is 39 €. It includes the following menu:

Alder smoked chicken flavoured with sage and sweet corn
season’s vegetable salad and dark apple sauce

Pancakes à la Savu
Apple compote flavoured with tar syrup, whipped cream, strawberry jam of the house,
traditional vanilla ice-cream, rhubarb compote and roasted nuts in fudge sauce

Coffee / tea, ice water

If you'd like to participate, please include the dinner in your conference fee (total 64 €) to be paid by March 20th to the Finnish Literary Research Society’s account (see Conference fee above).

Those of you staying in Helsinki during the conference please note that early June is a busy time for the hotels in city centre. We advise you to make your reservations well in advance.
