Environmental teaching
HENVI coordinates and arranges minor subject studies called Environmental multidisciplinary environmental study module. The study module includes the following courses taught in English. The courses are open to all students.

HENVI Science Days and workshop for students
In connection to the Science Days we organise an interdisciplinary Special course including a workshop, which is open to all students. We have invited speakers of the Science Day to act as visiting teachers of the workshop.The course starts with introductions and forming of groups on 14 and 16 March 2012 in Viikki and ends with the Science Days and the workshop on 16-17 April 2012. HENVI Seminar Series
Students are invited to participate in HENVI Seminar Series. In connection to the seminars students can gain 1 ECTS credit by reviewing and writing summaries of selected presentations. The theme of the Seminar Series in spring 2012 is Managing chemicals in our Environment.

The theme of the HENVI Science Days was 'Why does society need environmental research?' The students of the HENVI workshop wrote the publication HENVI Science Days Report.
2010
The topic of Henvi Science Day 2010 was Man-Made Substances and Environment – Multidisciplinary Research on Risks and Future Possibilities. The excellent summary written by Tiina Mononen reviews the main points of the presentation given by professor Jussi Kukkonen.
2009
The HENVI Science Day 2009 was organised on 16th April 2009 with the theme
Water Use and Climate Change.
In connection to the HENVI Science Day we organised a student workshop with the same topic on the previous day, 15 April 2009. Students attending the workshop prepared presentations during a four-week course, where students' work was supervised both in face to face sessions and web based group work.
