Concluding seminar of IBAM project: Integrated Bayesian risk analysis of ecosystem management in the Gulf of Finland

A three year study project is over. So what did we learn? If you want to know:

1. How the ecosystem approach is implemented in the Australian fisheries management and science?
2. What kind of a risk is common reed for our beaches in archipelago?
3. What did the major environmental changes cause to the production capacity of herring in the Baltic Sea?
4. Did the Antonio Gramsci oil spill really have an impact on herring stocks in the Gulf of Finland?
5. Can the joined impacts of several risk factors (oil spills, eutrophication, exploitation) be modeled for herring and eider in a single model?

Food, fibre or fuel? Conflicts and solutions in August 2012

A public seminar organised by the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry (University of Helsinki) on Wednesday August 22nd, 2012 at Metsätalo, Unioninkatu 40, Helsinki.
