Research Interests

The goal of the Oral Microbiology and Infections Group is to promote understanding of the interplay between oral microbes and the host and the effect of oral infection on the health. Active research of our group includes studies on oral biofilms, host-microbe interactions, endodontic microbiology, biomaterial infections and infection control.
Main interests
- Microbiology of oral infections - Microbiology of oral biofilms
- Antimicrobial treatment of oral infections - Antimicrobial susceptibility of oral pathogens

- Immunity in oral infections - Oral infections of immunocompromised patients
- Infections and oral cancer
