The Secretariat of Universities Finland UNIFI

• Implements the decisions of the organisation and contributes to the actualisation of UNIFI's objectives.
• Is responsible for planning and carrying out UNIFI's national and international activities according to the organisation's guidelines.
• Acts as an expert body, coordinator and supplier of information for the organisation
• Maintains and actively develops good relations to both the research community and the central national agencies. The secretariat participates in many external working groups on higher education and research policy (set by for example Ministry of Education, Ministry of Employment and the Economy, Academy of Finland)
