GM risk assessment

Research groups working on GM organisms, including mice, have to send a GM-risk assessment to the national board on gene technology (Geenitekniikan lautakunta). Please find the instructions at

For all new GM mouse lines to be used, a GM risk assesment form should be filled and sent to the Laboratory Animal Center (Tarja Kohila). In addition, when requesting services from the GM mouse unit please attach the GM risk assesment to the work request form.
