Genetically Modified Rodents GM
GM unit of the Laboratory Animal Center, University of Helsinki, provides services on gene modified rodents. Our services are available for both the external customers and the researchers at the University of Helsinki. We are the only national core facility who offers rat cryopreservation and rederivation. We also master both DNA pronuclear and CRISPR/Cas9 mediated genome editing in generation of new mouse and rat lines, and mouse ES cell targeting.
