Please consider offering your full paper for publication in Quality Assurance and Safety of Crops & Foods. The journal will publish a special issue on the topic of the Symposium later in 2010 and will accept six to eight papers suited to the scope of the journal. The organizers of the GF10 Symposium will be responsible for the initial reviewing process. The extended deadline of the manuscripts will be one month after the Symposium, July 11. The authors will receive a free copy of the special issue. For further details concerning the journal and submitting are coming soon.

Guidelines for oral presentations

Presentations are expected to follow the submitted abstracts. Please allow 3–5 minutes in the end of your presentation for questions and comments.

Please bring your compatible presentation file with you on CD or memory stick and contact the Speaker Service desk at congress venue Tampere Hall no later than 2 hours before the start of your session. Your presentation will be uploaded by the assistants to the computer of the lecture room.

Each lecture room is equipped with PC laptop computer, one data/video projector and one large screen. The native resolution of the projector is 1024 x 768.
The software installed on the computer includes:

• MS Office 2007 Suite (PowerPoint, Word)
• Adobe Acrobat Reader
• Internet Explorer
• Windows Media Player
• Skype
• WinDVD

It is recommended that you use the computer of the lecture room and that you avail yourself of the opportunity to bring your presentation in advance to Speaker Service desk. If for some reason you are unable to use the computer of the lecture room for your presentation, you are requested to arrive at the lecture room in good time before the occasion. This way we can ensure that your laptop computer is compatible with our projection equipment and make any adjustments and alterations in display settings of your laptop that may be required.

We recommend that you primarily include your video clips in a Power Point presentation.

However, if you wish to use video facilities, DVD player or slide projector in your presentation, you should inform us in advance.
