DAGIS – Increased Health and Wellbeing in Preschool

DAGIS (Increased Health and Wellbeing in Preschools) is a research project focused on preschool children’s energy balance-related behaviors (EBRBs) and stress regulation, and also work wellbeing of preschool personnel. The main aims are to reduce socioeconomic inequalities in children’s EBRBs and to create preschool as an environment for healthy lifestyle and wellbeing for children and personnel. The project is conducted in a cooperation with University of Helsinki Department of Teacher Education, Folkhälsan Research Center, Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences and Finnish Food Safety Authority Evira between years 2014 and 2019.
