The next application round opens up in November 2012.


The applicants must meet the following criteria:



1) The applicant should present a Bachelor ’s degree certificate from a recognised and internationally acknowledged University latest by 31 July 2012 in one of the following disciplines:
  • Social Psychology
    -     or a closely related discipline with studies equivalent to basic and intermediate studies in Social Psychology at the University of Helsinki

  • Sociology
    - or a closely related discipline with studies equivalent to basic and intermediate studies in Sociology at the University of Helsinki

    • Political Science
      - or a closely related discipline with studies equivalent to basic and intermediate studies in Political Science at the University of Helsinki



      PLEASE NOTE ! APPLICANTS SHOULD APPLY TO THE MAJOR SUBJECT WHICH IS CLOSEST TO THE MAJOR/ LARGE MINOR IN THE BACHELOR DEGREE.
      For example, it is not possible to be admitted to the Social Psychology major with a BA in Political Science or vice versa.


2) The grade of the major subject studies (of the BA) should be very good (corresponding to the grade B in ECTS).

 

3) International applicants are required to have academic level proficiency in English in order to be able to successfully complete their studies. Acceptable language tests and minimum scores

Graduates from a Finnish university who have completed the required English language modules as part of the BA do not need to do a language test.
International applicants: You do not have to do a language test if you have a Bachelor’s degree written in English from one of the EU or EEA Countries, or from Australia, Canada, New Zealand or from the U.S.A. All other nationalities are required to prove their language skills.

 

4) The completed studies on which grounds the application is made, must not be older than 10 years. (If all the studies or scientific qualifications are earned before 31.1.2002, the application will not be taken into consideration)
