A state-operated school. No annual fee. The upper secondary school is intended for students between 15 and 18 years. Teaching follows the Finnish curriculum. A Finnish matriculation examination can be taken at this school. The upper secondary school participates in the joint admission scheme. The pupils are selected on the basis of the average grades in the theoretical subjects in their comprehensive school -leaving certificates and language test results. The focus of education is on the Russian language and culture. Russian-speaking pupils study Russian in mother tongue -level courses and Finnish as the second language.
