Additional traffic and diversions for New Year’s Eve

The New Year’s celebration will cut motorised traffic through the Senate Square Thursday 31 December at about 6 pm.
The Metro traffic will be prolonged so that the last departure from Ruoholahti to Vuosaari will leave at 0121 hours and from Ruoholahti to Mellunmäki at 0126 hours. The Metro’s connection shuttle buses will finish operating at the normal time, however.
Bus lines 01N, 02N, 20N, 39A, 40, 64N, 72, 74, 74N, 85N, 90N, 94N and 96N will have additional traffic after 0030 hours. Also early morning lines will get extra buses.
The preparations of the New Year will cause diversion for the lines operating normally around the Senate Square (Senaatintori). Read more about diversions...
