Housing Affairs Division
The Housing Affairs Division specialises in housing and home financing. The division actively promotes and markets housing and financing alternatives. It also provides rental housing and grants loans and subsidies for the purchase, construction and renovation of homes.
Consumer counselling
Consumer counselling provides information about the rights and obligations of the consumer as well as contracts, contract terms and marketing in, for example, home buying, renovations and refurbishment, auto purchase and repair, and purchase of private healthcare services.
The counselling services may be contacted by phone or letter. You can also schedule an appointment. Please note that, unfortunately, counselling cannot be provided in English.
Youth Information Centre Kompassi
Young people aged 13–25 seeking information are welcome at the information centre in Lasipalatsi to find out more about housing, studying and work. Kompassi can also be contacted by email at kompassi@hel.fi.
