Welcome!
The Master´s Degree Programme in Economics provides professional education for economists, including both theoretical studies and applied training. Economics graduates are employed by research institutions, various organizations, business enterprises, banks and government.
The Programme consists of a minimum of 120 credits, equalling 120 ECTS points. The Master’s degree takes approximately two years to complete. All tuition takes place in English.
Upon completion of the Programme, the students receive the Master of Social Sciences degree (M.Soc.Sc.).
The students who have graduated from the programme are eligible to apply for doctoral studies at the Finnish and foreign universities. The programme gives the students excellent means and tools to perform well in a competitive PhD programme.

The application period for Autumn 2013 has now started. The application period runs between 19th of November 2012 and 31st of January 2013.
