Margareta Klabbers is a postgraduate student of international law at the University of Helsinki and a member of the Law in a Changing World Doctoral Programme since 2012. She holds an LL.B (2009) and an LL.M (2011) from the Faculty of Law, University of Helsinki, and an M.S. (2006) from the Faculty of Science (Geography), University of Helsinki.


Research:
Margareta Klabbers is currently writing a PhD thesis on the concepts of territory and jurisdiction in international law under the supervision of Professor Martti Koskenniemi.

Law and geography, critical legal geography, territorial jurisdiction, the histories of territory and jurisdiction
