Elina Almila is a doctoral candidate in public international law at the University of Helsinki. She holds an LL.M. (2013) from the Leiden Law School, Leiden University.
Research


Elina is currently writing her doctoral thesis on sexual violence against children in armed conflict. The aim of the thesis is to find out how better legal protection from armed conflict related sexual violence can be provided to girls and boys through the means of international law.
