Direct flights to Helsinki-Vantaa airport are offered from many cities in and outside Europe by several airline companies, such as Finnair, British Airways, Lufthansa, Air France, Iberia, KLM. For a complete list of these airlines click here.

There are several bus connections from the airport to the centre of Helsinki. The trip takes about 35-40 minutes. You can take the Finnair citybus (5.90 €) or the regional bus line 615/615T/615TK (4 €) (prices as of March 2009). The final stop of both lines is the main railway station in the centre of Helsinki.

A taxi from the airport to the city centre costs about 40 €.
