Crisis and communication

The research group conducts research related to crisis communication and coordinates Crisis, Communication and Society Research Network. The groups aims to develop cross-disciplinary approaches to the subject of research, that is, crisis, media and communication. Workshops and seminars are organized to stimulate fruitful collaboration between professions (academics and practioners alike) in order to develop new practices to prevent and manage crises and disasters better and more effectively in today’s media society.

In University of Helsinki the Research Network operates in connection with the Crisis and Media Society Research Programme.
