Focal Research Areas

There are five focal research areas in the CRADLE. They serve as forums for discussion and joint development of research projects and publications. Boundaries between the groups are fluid and members can move across them.

Change Laboratory is an important intervention research method developed in CRADLE. The photo is from a Change Laboratory session conducted in October 2009 in Viikki Science Library of University of Helsinki. Within the project 'Knotworking in the Library', librarians and research groups develop together new kinds of services with the help of CRADLE researchers.
