  Remembering Communism
  HCAS visiting writer Antje Rávic Strubel discusses the memory of socialism with HCAS research fellows on Thursday, 22 November, from 4 to 6 pm.  The discussion brings academic researchers and artist in dialogue. They discuss the memory of socialism, the discrepancies between private and public/institutionalized memory, eastern and western memories and the different ways in which communist regimes in Europe and Russia are remembered today.

Conversations with Writers

Series of conversations with writers create the core of the programme. Approximately once in a month researchers, writers and those interested in the current topics will meet at the Collegium to discuss the issues decided by the visiting writers. In addition, the writer programme can organize thematic seminars where writers and researchers can interact.
