Majors

The department offers seven majors. The department also
co-ordinates the Helsinki Region Biotechnology Educational Programme (HEBIOT).

Each major has its own major committees and professors in charge. See the introductions to the majors from the links on the left.

The Department of Biosciences has two Master's degree programmes:

• Master's Degree Programme in Biotechnology (MBIOT)
• Master's Degree Programme in Neuroscience (MNEURO)
