Boreal Biota and Ecology program 2012

The Department of Biosciences offers every fall a study program in Boreal Biota and Ecology (BBE) for international and Finnish students.
The program covers diverse aspects of biota and ecology, mostly focusing on population ecology in the boreal zone. Teaching takes full advantage of the strong expertise in boreal ecology at the department.
The program includes lectures, interactive seminars, workshops and field courses. All courses (ca. 22 credits/ects) are taught in English. The level of teaching is suitable for students with two to four years of studies in ecology and population biology and who have a good command of English. The courses are appropriate for both B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees.
