Our research is mainly in the field of plant physiology and plant cellular biology with an emphasis on oxidative stress and oxidative stress signalling and it has ramifications to mitochondria, to programmed cell death (PCD) regulation, to haemoglobin proteins and genes, to xylem formation and lignification in trees and to their commercial applications to name a few.
