Research projects
Most of our research focus on selection under changing environmental conditions. We determine how different adaptations, like reproductive behaviours, depend on environmental conditions. We then determine how selection changes when conditions change and the consequences that this may have for populations. In particular, we are investigating the effect of eutrohication on the strengt and direction of sexual selection on different traits in fishes and how any alterations may influence the further evolution and viability of the populations.
