There are grants for supporting travel of research students/scientists between participating labs calculated as: per diem/accomodation estimated as 150/350 = 500 NKr. per day for short visits (up to one week) or 400 NKr. per day for slightly longer visits (up to one month). There are 8 stipends per year for visits up to one week, and 6 for up to one month. Additionally, there are 3 grants for visits of senior scientists for up to 3 days. Workshops should run on average once per year with a total budget of ca. 115.000 per workshop, with costs for food and accommodation estimated to be around 400 NKr per day per participant. The budget allows to invite about 3 guest speakers from outside the Nordic countries (estimated total travel costs 18.000 for the external speakers). Unused money in one category may within limits be transferred to other categories. Applications should be send by email to VL. Decisions about grants/applications are taken by the so-called founding members with VL as chairman. Reimbursement forms can be found on the web page.
