Facilities

One of the goals of the network is to promote collaboration and sharing of Nordic capital – both intellectual and material – between the participating laboratories. Here are listed the specific equipment and facilities available in participating laboratories. If you are interested of utilizing these resources, please contact respective group leaders.

Aarhus

  • DNA laboratory with quantitative PCR and protein expression equipment.

  • Drosophila lab and temperature rooms.

  • Access to fieldstation at Rønbjerg.

Helsinki

  • The MES-laboratory is equipped with facilities for various types of molecular biological methods including DNA extraction, PCR, cloning, agarose and starch gel electrophoresis, automated sequencing, microsatellite-genotyping and SNP-genotyping.
