The Biomolecular Chemistry group is part of the Sustainable Healthcare and Environment platform at the Department of Chemistry. Our expertise resides in the synthesis,structural elucidation and profiling of all classes of biomolecules including carbohydrates, lipids and peptides. We are an application-oriented group focused on solving challenges at the interface of chemistry, medicine and biology and expanding the knowledge on the properties and biological roles of biomolecules. In addition to our own research projects (see research section), we actively collaborate with leading experts in the fields of natural science, chemical biology and drug development.
