New doctoral schools and doctoral programmes

The University of Helsinki has established four doctoral schools which doctoral programmes will be in action in the beginning of 2014. Doctoral schools are:
- Doctoral School of Humanities and Social Sciences
- Doctoral School of Natural Science
- Doctoral School of Health Research
- Doctoral School of Environmental, Food and Bioscience
The Faculty of Behavioural Sciences coordinates two doctoral programmes, which belongs to the Doctoral School of Humanities and Social Sciences. All of those who have received the right to pursue postgraduate studies will belong to one doctoral programme. Doctoral programmes are:
- Doctoral Programme of Psychology, Learning and Communication (PSYCo)
- Doctoral Programme of School, Education, Society and Culture (SEDUCE)
The Faculty of Behavioural Sciences is part of the following doctoral programmes, Doctoral Programme of Theology, Doctoral Programme of History and Culture Inheritance, Doctoral Programme in Language Studies, Doctoral Programme of Gender, Culture and Social Science, Doctoral Programme of Social Sciences, Doctoral Programme of Political, Social Science and Regional Science, Doctoral Programme of Population Health, Doctoral Programme Brain & Mind (B&M), Doctoral Program in Interdisciplinary Environmental Sciences (DENVI) and aim at cooperation with the Faculty of Science.
The Faculty of Behavioural Sciences will inform about organization of doctoral schools in autumn 2013.
