Recommended Mac systems

University's Mac agreement systems include 3 or 4 year Apple Repair Agreement warranty. Campus licenced Mac applications: Microsoft Office, JMP, SPSS, EndNote and Symantec Anti-Virus.

• Basic notebook: 13" MacBook Pro with VGA -adapter for connecting to data projectors.
• Desktop replacement notebook: 15" MacBook Pro
• Light notebook: MacBook Air
• Desktop: iMac
• External hard drive for Time Machine backups.

Recommended Mac system for students

• Apple MacBook Air or 13" MacBook Pro
• External hard drive for Time Machine backups.
• VGA -adapter for connecting to data projectors.
• Apple iWork or Microsoft Office Home & Student Edition.
• Pixelmator or Adobe Photoshop Elements for image processing.

Students can buy a Mac with Apple Student discounts from Apple resellers or from Lyyra Apple Store.
