Homedirectories
The home directory is a place where you can store your own files and documents. The home directory can be accessed from different workstations at the university network and possibly also by remote connections from a worstation at home or elsewhere in the Internet. At the University we have home directory services for AD network and Unix systems. The home directory is not the same as www home directory, which is a place where you can publish your home page. In Unix the home page area is included in the home directory whereas in AD network there is a separate disk space for home page.
