Computer labs and classrooms

The IT Services provides computer labs. These offer various IT resources (eg. microcomputers, UNIX terminals, printers, software) to University students and staff. Most of the labs are located on the campuses in large learning centers. Howevwer there are also labs available in smaller units.

The IT Services provides computer labs in campus units on all the campuses except for the Meilahti Campus of the Faculty of Medicine.

• Computer labs in Viikki Campus (Alma)

All in all there are some 600 computers available. In most of the labs it is also possible to connect your own laptop through a HUPnet connection to the university´s computer networks.

If you have IT-problems related to your studies or your work at university you can get help from our Helpdesk and/or user account services.

Computer classrooms are also available. The departments of the university can book them to hold lectures.
