NACS, Nordic Association for China Studies is an academic network for Nordic scholars, teachers and students specialising in China Studies with focus on humanities and social sciences. NACS has its own mailing list and it organises a seminar every two years.Next conferenece will be take place in Stockholm in 2007.

NAJS, Nordic Association for the Study of Contemporary Japanese Society, was formed in 2002, with the aim to encourage Japanese studies in the Nordic countries. NAJS organises an annual spring conference.

NAJAKS, Nordic Association for Japanese and Korean Studies focuses on Japan and Korea within the frameworks of the humanities and social sciences. As its main activity, NAJAKS has organised Nordic conferences. Its latest conference was held in 2004 in Sweden.
