Area and Cultural Studies
Area and Cultural Studies is an interdisciplinary subject on societies, cultures and intercultural encounters.
Students can choose to focus on one of the following area tracks within the programme:
- European Studies
- Latin American Studies
- Nordic Studies
- North American Studies
- Russian and East European Studies, and
- co-ordinated by the Aleksanteri Institute, on East Central European, Balkan and Baltic Studies.
Area and Cultural Studies is also home to an international Master's Degree Programme in Intercultural Encounters.
