Finnish-Russian network in Russian and Eurasian studies in the field of social sciences and humanities (FRRESH)

Finnish Master’s School in Russian and East European Studies

  • joint multidisciplinary study programme of 12 Finnish universities
  • students graduate with majors from their home universities
  • tailored courses, seminars, student exchanges and employment training
  • 500 students enrolled, over 200 graduates since 1998

East Central European, Balkan and Baltic Studies (ECEBB)

  • multidisciplinary subject founded on the cooperation of several departments and units of the University of Helsinki
  • provides students with understanding of the recent history and current societies of the East Central European, Balkan and Baltic regions
