Baltic Sea Region – Caucasus Network

The Baltic Sea Region – Caucasus Network (BASERCAN) applied further funding for 2014-2015 and was successful in the selection process. The new name is BASERCAN+.

The project is coordinated by the Aleksanteri Institute. The aim of the network is to increase student and teacher mobility and to strengthen higher education cooperation between universities in Finland, Belarus and Georgia.

Activities of the network include:

  • Student exchanges
  • Teacher exchanges
  • Network and administrative meetings
  • An intensive course to be organised in Tbilisi in the spring 2015 (see more below)
Baltic Sea Region – Caucasus Network receives funding from the North-South-South Higher Education Institution Network Programme (North-South-South) which is financed by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland through the development cooperation funds. CIMO, Centre for International Mobility in Finland coordinates the whole North-South-South programme. logo
