Visiting lecturers from Romania,
Prof. Ion Stanciu and Dr. Silviu Miloiu from Valahia University of Targoviste (Romania)
will give a short series of lectures on April 20th and 21st in Aleksanteri Institute.

Constructing the "Belt": an account on Romanian relationship with the Baltic states and Finland during the inter-war period

Ph.D. Silviu Miloiu:
The Failure of the "Belt": Romanian views and attitudes toward the annexation of the Baltic states and the Winter War

The visit is part of the Socrates Erasmus agreement between Aleksanteri Institute at the University of Helsinki and Valahia University of Targoviste. The students who wish to get a credit from listening to these lectures are adviced to contact their own department.
