The Annual Aleksanteri Conference

The Aleksanteri Conference is an annual international conference organised by the Aleksanteri Institute and held in Helsinki towards the end of the year. The conference, which focuses on changing themes in the field of Russian and Eastern European Studies, attracts a growing number of Finnish and international academics every year. Aleksanteri Conference 2014: Restructuring State and Society in Russia

The 14th Annual Aleksanteri Conference entitled Restructuring State and Society in Russia will be held in Helsinki on October 22 -24, 2014.

Keynote spekers of the conference:

Call for Papers was open until May 15, 2014. Altogether 147 paper proposals and 13 for panels were submitted and the accepted speakers will be informed in June. For more information, please see the conference site!
