Travel and accommodation

Participants are requested to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation and cover the costs related to participation.

Conference organisers have negotiated a special price and quota for the conference participants at the hotel Arthur located close to the conference venues (Helsinki University).

When booking, use our code Aleksantericonference. Please note that there are limited number of rooms with special price. We advice to make bookings early in advance. Deadline for reservation is November 10, 2008.

Venue information

The conference will be held at the central campus of the University of Helsinki, in the city centre. The conference venues are located within a few minutes walk from each other and from the central railway station, where also the airport coaches stop. STAKES, which is located a little further from the very centre of Helsinki, can be reached by tram in 10 minutes. See the map of locations.
