Funding

Please note that unfortunately the Conference is unable to offer travel funds or accomodation to participants. Please consult the below for possible sources of funding.

The Academy of Finland

The Academy of Finland (www.aka.fi/ ) may allocate some grants for the conference participants. The Academy of Finland receives annually 30 young Russian researchers to participate and appear at international conferences held in Finland 2005-2007 (agreement between the Academy of Finland and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research).

The applicants must be Russians under 35 years old. To apply for grants, the applicants must have an invitation letter.

Academy of Finland covers:
conference participation fee
allowance EUR 30/day (if the university receiving the researcher has an agreement with the Academy of Finland)

Russian Foundation for Basic Research

Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) covers:
travel expenses for a round-trip from Russia to the conference location in Finland

Application procedure:
Russian researcher applies for grant to cover travel expenses from the RFBR.
The RFBR provides additional information on application deadlines and procedures.
